Driver Hire Carlisle are currently recruiting for an multiple HGV Class 2 Driver roles (CAT C ) for our well known and established clients in the Carlisle and surrounding areas. Some exciting opportunities to join locally and nationally recognised haulage companies in the local area.
What We Offer a HGV Class 2 Driver:
- potential up to £20.84 PER HOUR PAYE ADV (shift dependant)
- Weekly earnings c£640-£1250
- Shifts run across Monday-Sunday
- Days and Night Shifts available
- Average 12 hour shifts
- Ongoing Requirement
- AD HOC Shifts available
- Possible Temp-Perm
Key Responsibilities for a HGV Class 2 Driver:
- General Haulage across the UK with 1-5 drops per shift
- Palletised Multi drops
- Roadworks
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirement
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Experience & Qualifications for a HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
- Minimum 6 months class 2 experience
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
