Electrician

dhBorders Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrician on behalf of our client based in the Selkirk area.

You will be carrying out a range of electrical work across occupied and void properties, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.

Responsibilities

• General electrical maintenance and repairs
• Inspection, testing, and fault finding
• Installation of electrical systems, fixtures, and fittings
• Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations (18th Edition)
• Working in domestic and communal environments
• Providing a professional service when interacting with residents and site contacts

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification essential
• Experience in inspection and testing (2391 or equivalent preferred)
• Valid ECS/CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
