Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a client which specialises in designing and manufacturing furniture.
This position is suited to someone who is reliable, practical, and comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced setting
Main Duties of this position:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (with overtime available)
- 12 week temp to perm position
- Cleaning and preparing metal components for powder coating
- Labelling metal parts accurately for production and dispatch
- Preparing finished items for dispatch once production is complete
- Securely wrapping metal products ready for delivery and transportation
What we require from you:
- Own transport to commute to and from work is essential due to the location of the client
- Physically fit and happy to heavy lift due to the nature of the work
- Great attention to detail
- Computer literate, ability to read diagrams and drawings
- Sandblasting experience is beneficial but not essential
- Hardworking, reliable, and honest
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
