Driver Hire is recruiting for a Van Class B XLWB Delivery Driver based near Castle Cary. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial driver looking for ongoing work, with the potential to move into regular Monday–Friday work after successful training.
The Role
You will be driving XLWB vans, delivering goods across the region. The role will involve early morning starts, route planning, completing deliveries efficiently, and providing a professional service to customers.
Duties will include:
Driving XLWB vans safely and professionally
Delivering across the local and wider region
Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
Loading and unloading where required
Ensuring paperwork and delivery records are completed accurately
Representing the client and Driver Hire to a high standard

Requirements
Full UK Category B licence
Minimum age 25 for insurance purposes
At least 2 years’ commercial driving experience
Experience driving larger vans preferred
Good knowledge of local and regional routes
Reliable, punctual, and professional
No more than 6 penalty points, with no major endorsements
