Driver Hire Bridgwater is excited to be supporting a number of local clients through new partnerships, offering a wide range of Class 1 HGV C+E driving work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced, professional Class 1 drivers looking for flexible, varied work with respected local clients. We have opportunities available across days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, with a variety of assignments to suit different preferences and experience.
The Role
As a Class 1 HGV C+E Driver, your work may include:
Hub-to-hub trunking
Curtainsider work
Double decker trailers
Tanker work
Bulk blower work
Tipper work
General Class 1 HGV assignments
Completing daily vehicle checks
Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
Representing Driver Hire Bridgwater and our clients in a professional manner
Following all road transport, driver hours and health and safety regulations

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
A valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience
Be aged 25 or over due to insurance requirements
Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
A professional, reliable and flexible approach
Good communication and customer service skills
