Driver Hire is currently recruiting Class 1 HGV C+E Day Drivers to support a range of local clients and roles.
This is a great opportunity for reliable, professional drivers looking for ongoing work, immediate starts after onboarding, and the chance to secure a permanent position through temp-to-perm opportunities with successful assignments.
The Role
As a Class 1 HGV C+E Day Driver, your duties may include:
Driving Class 1 HGV C+E vehicles safely and professionally
Day shifts with start times from 7:00am
Supporting a variety of client requirements and assignments
Ongoing work with consistent assignments available
Completing daily vehicle checks
Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
Providing excellent customer service while representing Driver Hire and our clients
Following all road transport, driver hours and health and safety regulations

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
A valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience due to insurance requirements
Good communication and customer service skills
A reliable, flexible and professional attitude
Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
