🚛 HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Driver Hire Edinburgh West

🕒 Work Type: Ad hoc / Casual / Part-time

Driver Hire Edinburgh West is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to support a variety of clients across West Lothian. This role is ideal for drivers seeking flexible work, with shifts that can fit around your availability.

👌 What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience (essential)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR, or CD endorsements) - Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and flexible attitude
🚚Typical Duties
- Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
(including steel, office furniture, food & drink, and construction materials) - A–B vehicle movements
- General haulage and pallet network work
- Loading and unloading where required
- Daily vehicle checks and adherence to safety procedures
💷Pay
- PAYE basic – £14.50 (with holidays accrued)
- PAYE advanced – £16.25
