7.5 Tonne Driver Darlington

Driver Hire Darlington is currently looking for a dependable and experienced 7.5‑tonne driver to join a long‑running assignment with a respected client based in Darlington. This is ongoing, stable work and would suit a driver who enjoys hands‑on, customer‑focused deliveries.

You’ll be completing multi‑drop deliveries to domestic addresses, some of which may have limited or awkward access. The role also involves manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is essential, along with a professional approach when dealing with customers.

Duties will include:

• Driving a 7.5‑tonne vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
• Completing multiple residential drops each day
• Manual handling of goods during deliveries
• Loading and unloading the vehicle safely and efficiently
• Representing the client and Driver Hire Darlington in a professional manner

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid UK driving licence with C1 (7.5t) entitlement
• Proven experience driving 7.5‑tonne vehicles
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Confidence driving in residential and restricted-access areas
• A reliable, punctual, and customer‑focused attitude
