Driver Hire South East London are recruiting for a temp to perm delivery driver for our butcher client based within SE24 postcode areas
PAYE Weekly Pay at £14.25 per hour (including holiday pay)
Salary Once Permanent Will Be- 34k
£75 per week extra when working on the night shift when permanent
Type of shifts
- Multi drop deliveries in and around M25
- Delivering Meat
- Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Mon-Fri & the occasional Saturdays
- Start times- 5am-2pm
- Alternative week 2:30am-11:30am
All-round Duties:
- Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UK CAT B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 3 points (no DR DD TT IN)
- A manual driving licence
- At least 1-year experience as a Cat B (references required)
- You must be over the age of 30 years (insurance purposes)
- Physically fit, Jobs require heavy lifting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ideally someone who will be able to travel on public transport, no free parking available but paid parking is available
Schedule:
- 9 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night Shift
- Monday-Saturday
Licence/Certification:
- Cat B Full UK Manual Driving Licence
