Driver Hire Darlington are currently recruiting an experienced Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Operator to work on a long‑term supply basis with a well‑established client within the aggregates industry in Darlington.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hard‑working FLT Operator looking for stable, ongoing work.
The Role:
- Operating a fork lift truck safely and efficiently
- Moving, loading and unloading aggregates and related materials
- Assisting with yard operations as required
- Carrying out daily checks on the FLT Operator and reporting defects
- Working in line with health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in date)
- Previous experience operating an FLT Operator, ideally within an aggregates, quarry, construction or industrial environment
- A strong awareness of health & safety
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
