Driver Hire Darlington is recruiting a reliable and experienced 7.5‑tonne driver for ongoing, long‑term work with a well‑known and established client in Darlington. This role involves multi‑drop deliveries to residential properties, so you’ll need to be confident, physically capable, and comfortable working in customer‑facing environments.
The Role:
- Driving a 7.5‑tonne vehicle to complete domestic deliveries
- Multi‑drop work to residential addresses, including locations with restricted access
- Manual handling as part of the delivery process
- Safe loading and unloading of goods
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers at each delivery point
What You’ll Need:
- A full UK driving licence with Cat C1 (7.5t) entitlement
- Previous 7.5‑tonne driving experience
- A good level of physical fitness for hands‑on delivery work
- Confidence driving and manoeuvring in residential areas
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Punctual, dependable, and customer‑focused approach
