Forklift Operative – East Kilbride (Temp to Perm)
Driver Hire East Kilbride is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and reputable company based in East Kilbride. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative looking for long‑term, stable work with the chance to go permanent after 13 weeks.
The Role
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Supporting yard operations as required
- Working as part of a friendly, established team
Hours & Pay
- Monday – Thursday, 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am to 2pm.
- £13.25 per hour
- Weekly PAYE pay every Friday through Driver Hire
- Accrued holiday entitlement
- 13 week temp to perm opportunity
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year’s counterbalance forklift experience
- Valid RTITB Counterbalance certificate (in‑house certificates cannot be accepted)
- Must have own transport or live local to East Kilbride for start time
- Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to work well within a team
