Job Opportunity: Full-Time HGV Class 2 Driver – Pharmaceutical Deliveries
Location: Delivering across Devon & Cornwall
Pay: £14.85 per hour
Overtime: £22.75 per hour (paid after 46 hours per week)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Times: Early mornings between 02:00 – 04:00 or Twilight shifts starting at 13:00
We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to distribute pharmaceutical products to stores across Devon and Cornwall.
This is a responsible role within a vital supply chain, ensuring timely and secure delivery of healthcare products to retail locations.
The Role:
- Multi-drop deliveries of pharmaceutical goods
- Delivering to stores across Devon & Cornwall
- Early morning starts (between 2am and 4am)
- Handling caged deliveries (experience preferred)
- Ensuring accurate and secure transportation of goods
- Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
Working Pattern:
- Alternating weekly rota:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Monday to Saturday
- Early finishes depending on route completion
- Alternative ‘Twilight’ shift pattern also available, starting at 1pm each day
- Some class 1 shifts may become available to those who have the licence
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digi card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience required
- Experience with cage deliveries advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good knowledge of Devon & Cornwall road networks
- Strong awareness of compliance and road safety
