Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for 2 Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a busy commercial waste collection operation based in Bristol. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability and a competitive salary for the right candidates.
Weekly Pay (while temping) | Early Starts | Temp-to-Perm
The Role:
- Carry out commercial waste collections across Bristol and surrounding areas
- Drive a Class 2 vehicle as part of a waste collection team
- Work alongside loaders to complete daily routes efficiently
- Start time 04:00, finishing around 14:00
- 45-hour working week, Monday to Friday
- Every other Saturday required, usually with an early finish
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure all paperwork is accurate
- Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism
Pay & Benefits:
- £37,220.73 annual salary (upon permanent transfer)
- Weekly PAYE pay whilst working through Driver Hire (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)

What You’ll Need:
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
- Previous waste or multi-drop experience desirable but not essential
