Driver Hire Gatwick are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client in Horley. This is a full-time temp job but there is a potential permanent opportunity for the right candidate. You will carry out multi drop HIAB deliveries to their costumers.
The Role
- Delivering building materials using a crane
- Start times between 06:00-07:00 AM
- Between 7-15 drops depending on distance
- Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
- Safe loading and unloading of goods
About You
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- HIAB licence and experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT)
- Comfortable ensuring loads are secure at all times
- PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
- Own transport required to commute to and from the depot
- Must comply with all on-site health and safety procedures
