Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and flexible temporary opportunity for a delivery Van Driver in Poole. For this role, you will be delivering goods in the local area. 8-15 drops is the typical amount of drops per day.
Position: Van Driver (Category B)
Days: Monday – Sunday (flexible)
Start date: ASAP
Location: Poole
Pay Rate: £13.68 (daytime) – £15.69 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.
The successful Van Driver will have:
- experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
- a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
- own reliable transport to travel to work
- good customer service skills
- physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
Responsibilities:
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
- load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
