Class 2 Bin Delivery Drivers
Driver Hire Basingstoke & Newbury
We are seeking reliable and professional Class 2 drivers for a temporary bin delivery project across the Basingstoke and Newbury area, subject to project confirmation.
Role Details
- Working days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
- Shift duration: Typically 8–10 hours.
- Start date and times: To be confirmed.
- Hourly rate: £17.87, or £20.03 including holiday pay.
- Enhanced rates apply for overtime and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver bins safely and efficiently to designated addresses.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of bins.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Conduct vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report defects or delivery issues.
- Represent Driver Hire and the client professionally.
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with fewer than six penalty points.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
- Excellent timekeeping and customer service skills.
- Ability to carry out the manual handling duties safely.
- Own transport to travel to and from work.
