A Commercial Recruitment Role Driving Growth and Brand Presence
Driver Hire Bridgwater is entering an ambitious phase of regional expansion, and we are seeking a commercially driven Recruitment Consultant with a strong sales mindset to help grow our client base while maintaining the high service standards our brand is known for.
This role combines B2B sales, client development, and end-to-end recruitment delivery. You will actively identify new business opportunities, develop trusted client partnerships, and act as a professional ambassador for the Driver Hire brand in the local market.
B2B Sales & New Client Acquisition
Proactively identifying, targeting, and securing new B2B clients within the transport and logistics sector
Generating new business through outbound sales activity, networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings
Conducting consultative sales discussions to understand client needs and position Driver Hire’s recruitment solutions
Supporting regional expansion by increasing market presence and brand visibility
Client Relationship Management & Brand Representation
Acting as a trusted recruitment partner and brand ambassador for Driver Hire
Developing long-term relationships with decision-makers across existing and new client accounts
Ensuring every client interaction reflects professionalism, credibility, and service excellence
Managing client expectations and delivering recruitment solutions that add measurable value
Candidate Management & Recruitment Delivery
Sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidates to meet client requirements
Managing candidate pipelines, availability, and engagement
Ensuring compliance, quality standards, and best practice across all recruitment activity
Delivering timely, effective placements to support client operations
Commercial & Performance Contribution
Managing recruitment activity to achieve revenue and growth targets
Identifying opportunities for account growth, upselling, and long-term partnerships
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery
Contributing to overall branch performance during a period of expansion
About You
You are a sales-focused Recruitment Consultant who enjoys winning new business as much as delivering high-quality recruitment solutions.
You will bring:
Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant with a strong B2B sales element
Confidence in proactive sales activity, including cold outreach and face-to-face meetings
A consultative, relationship-led sales approach
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Excellent organisation and resilience in a fast-paced environment
Experience within transport, logistics, or high-volume recruitment (highly desirable)

Competitive base salary of £26,500–£30,000 DOE
