Driver Hire are looking for a Class 2 driver to join one of our well established clients based in the Crawley area. In this role you will have the responsibility to deliver pallets of quality goods around the south east, as well as picking them up too from the depots (This role requires you to own a CPC and TACHO card).
Responsibilities
- Up to 15 deliveries depending on distance.
- Monday to Friday starting at 08:30 am
- Ensure compliance with driving regulations.
- Make sure all paperwork is signed, accurate and distributed.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks which fulfil health and safety criteria.
- Oversee safe loading and unloading of goods.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must hold a valid driving license, CPC card and TACHO card
- Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.
- No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)
- Would need to live within 10 miles of the workplace in Crawley
- Minimum one year relevant driving experience
- Good navigational skills
- Right to work in the UK
