Maintenance Engineer – Duns
Full-time | 38 hours per week | Competitive salary
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer, to play a key role in keeping our clients site running safely and efficiently — minimising downtime and ensuring equipment performs at its best.
You’ll be involved in preventative maintenance, fault finding, electrical/mechanical repairs, and continuous improvement projects. Full training will be provided on our specialised equipment.
What you’ll do

Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.

Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical faults.

Calibrate and maintain production and plant equipment.

Support production operations during busy periods.

Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.

Contribute to site improvement and efficiency initiatives.
What we’re looking for

Qualifications: HND/NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a maintenance or manufacturing role.

Skills: Strong problem-solving, good IT knowledge, and attention to detail.

Confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable: 17th Edition Electrical qualification and experience in a manufacturing setting.

Flexibility: Able to work occasional overtime when required.
