We are currently recruiting for our client based in Chelmsford, for an operative to work on a machine to sort trash and recycling.

This is an incredibly important role to ensure process are followed and waste is disposed of as it should.

Initially to work on an ongoing temporary basis, this role could also lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate!!

On occasions you will also be required to work as Loader on the bin lorrys with a small team.

As a Dustcart Loader you will be required to prep the collection of the waste ahead of the vehicle and load the Bin Lorry on each round.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who are available immediately, are happy to complete repetitive tasks for the Operative role duties, and work outside in all weathers, and are ok with lots of manual handling for the Loader role duties.

Candidates will also need to offer excellent team player skills, a strong work ethic and reliability.

Working hours: 

Monday to Thursday: 0730 – 1530

Friday: 0730 – 1500

Occasional Saturdays available if desired.

Salary:

INC holiday pay: £10.64

EXC holiday pay: £9.50*

MINIMUM 8 HOURS PAY PER DAY

WEEKLY PAY

SATURDAY AND OVERTIME RATE

PAYE

*Holiday is to be requested in writing each week on the timesheet
