We are looking for a Highways Operative with a CAT C licence to start immediately for our client based in Cumbernauld. This position will be on a 12 weeks temporary basis with the view to permanent for the right candidate
As a Highways Operative with an HGV licence you must:
– Have a Cat C licence
– Have a CPC Card
– Have a NRSWA Card
– Have a flexible approach to work
The Highways Operatives’ responsibilities include but not limited to:
– 07.30/0800 Start time
– Monday to Friday(with weekend work available)
– Daily vehicle check sheets
– Have experience in construction and highways maintenance
– Be willing to take part in winter and summer maintenance eg. emergency call out and standby
-Keep records of necessary paperwork eg. drivers’ hours
-Have good communication skills
-Be computer literate
The successful Highways Operative can expect:
– Monday – Friday: £14.78 PAYE
– 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE
– Weekly Pay
– 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day
This position is commutable from Airdrie, Bellshill, Motherwell and other areas nearby to Coatbridge.
