Driver Hire Stockport is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver with a valid IPAF certification to work for our client based in Tameside.
This is a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off booking.
During your 2 weeks off, you are welcome to take on additional work through Driver Hire Stockport. If not, it’s ideal for a semi-retired driver looking for a more flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Class 1 beavertail vehicle
- Delivering and collecting plant machinery such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers
- Completing 7–10 drops per day
- Adhering to daily schedules and maintaining high safety standards
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC and Digital Tacho card
- IPAF certificate (Essential)
- Flexibility to also drive Class 2 vehicles if required
- Previous experience in machinery delivery/collection preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area
Pay Rates:
17.93ph – Before 8 hours
23.53ph- Overtime after 8 hours
This rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rate, if you wish to accrue these separately then this rate will become £16h and £21ph overtime.
