Driver Hire Gatwick are on the look out of an experienced 7.5T Delivery Driver to join one of our well establish haulage costumers in Crawley. This is a Monday to Friday shift pattern, delivering from palletised good from the Crawley depot. This is a perfect opportunity for you have ongoing work with the potential of a full time position depending on the clients needs and drivers performance. We have been fortunate to have placed many drivers with this particular client into permanent positions.
To be considered for the role you will need the following:
- Full UK driving license with category C1
- Up to date CPC qualification
- Tacho card
- Experience driving 7.5t vehicles and palletised goods
- A clean driving license or no more than 6 points and no major endorsements.
- A professional driving attitude with a customer focused attitude.
Your day will involve:
- Delivering items to specific clients
- Daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects when required
- Safe driving and ensure safe loads.
- Completing delivery paperwork correctly
What you will receive:

- Weekly pay (paid a week in hand)
- £17 per hour paid via Umbrella

As well as the above, to be considered for the role you will also be expected to attend site to complete a driver assessment. Once the assessment has been completed and passed, you will be put straight out to work the following day.
