Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Liverpool (L11)
Pay: £13.20 per hour (PAYE Accrued) OR £14.79 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes holiday pay)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 06:30 start times, minimum 8-hour shifts
Job Description:
Are you an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for a long-term opportunity? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected Liverpool-based client for a 7.5 Tonne driver to deliver furniture to customers’ homes, working alongside a drivers mate. This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and manual handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and install furniture in customers’ homes
- Work through a delivery schedule with your drivers mate
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles at the distribution centre
- Provide excellent customer service and encourage feedback
- Ensure safety checks are completed and drive responsibly
Requirements:
- Valid Category C1 Licence (7.5 Tonne)
- CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
