£20.00 per hour (paye adv, paye also available)

Driver Hire Darlington is a premier recruitment agency specializing in logistics and transportation. We are currently seeking experienced HGV ADR Drivers to join our team on a casual basis for our client running out of the Bishop Auckland area.
Job Description:
As an HGV ADR Driver, you will be responsible for transporting hazardous materials safely and efficiently. This work is typically trailer swap / trunking work with start times of 18:00pm. The requirements for this work are on an ad-hoc/casual basis in times of peak and sickness/holiday cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles for the transportation of hazardous goods. 🚛
- Conduct pre-journey checks to ensure compliance and safety. ✅
- Adhere to all relevant driving laws and ADR regulations. 🚦
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. 📝
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. 😊
Requirements:
- Valid HGV driving license (C). 🛑
- ADR certification.
- Previous experience with hazardous materials preferred.
- At least 1 year of Class 1 or 2 driving experience
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance. ⚖️
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- +25 years old (due to insurance requirements)
