Award-winning offices recognised
The achievements of Driver Hire’s top network performers were recognised at the Winter Conference held at Nottingham Belfry. The 2010 ‘Franchise of the Year’ was Bury St Edmunds, owned by George Griffiths. Wayne Clarkson, Driver Hire’s Network Development Director, said that the office has delivered a tremendous performance over the last two years, against a difficult background. The office continues to prosper and is currently 41% up on last year.
The network’s ‘Newcomer of the Year’ was Stockport, owned by franchisees Michael and Nicol Connaughton. The ‘Endeavour Award’ went to longstanding Birmingham franchisee Jim Richards and the ‘David Walter Salver’ to David Graham, franchisee at Teesside. A new 'Training' award was given to Driver Hire Oxford.
