Tim Plews, owner of Driver Hire’s Stevenage franchise is the winner of this year’s ‘Rose Bowl for Endeavour’. Tim and his team increased year-on-year revenue by 17% – the fifth largest increase across Driver Hire’s nationwide network. Quite an achievement in what have been tough trading conditions.

Commenting on Tim’s success, Chris Chidley, Driver Hire’s CEO, said: “This award isn’t just about sales, the team also engage in Driver Hire Group Services’ initiatives, for example embracing the use of digital tools to maximise efficiency within the business. What’s more, Tim’s a great ambassador for Driver Hire providing advice and assistance for new franchisees.”
Tim Plews added: “I’ve been part of the Driver Hire network for over 20 years and continue to love running my Driver Hire franchise. Thanks to the efforts of my team, we enjoyed an outstandingly successful financial year in 2023/24. On a daily basis we regularly find work for around 70 drivers. When it comes to customer service, because we’re a franchise, we offer them the benefits of working with a local, owner-managed business, backed by the resources of a major national company. And, of course, we can help drivers complete their essential Driver CPC training.”
