Survey success: Driver Hire rated excellent by majority of customers and candidates

Now in its twelfth year, Driver Hire’s annual ‘Proud Survey’ has once again delivered a remarkable set of results.

This year, nearly 350 customers and more than 1,100 candidates took part. Among customers, 96% rated Driver Hire’s customer service as Excellent or Good – with an impressive 80% selecting Excellent.

The positive feedback didn’t stop there. When asked about Value for Money, 87% of customers rated Driver Hire as Excellent or Good. And in an increasingly digital world, it was encouraging to see that personal contact was selected as the number-one thing customers value most, closely followed by consistently reliable service.

Customer comments reinforced this sentiment, with one saying: “We have been using Driver Hire now for the past 10–15 years – very reliable service provided by the team.” Another added: “They’ve got me out of so many staffing issues at the last second and helped keep our fleet on the road and our customers served.”

Candidate feedback tells an equally strong story. An outstanding 97% said they are proud to work for Driver Hire. Even more notably, 66% described themselves as Very Proud — the highest rating ever recorded. In an industry where agency drivers typically stay in a role for around ten weeks before moving on, such loyalty speaks volumes about Driver Hire’s commitment not just to finding work but to supporting the people behind the wheel.
