Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers ahead of major upcoming work with leading builders’ merchants across the local area.

We are building a pool of reliable HIAB drivers ready to start as soon as work becomes available. This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular, well-paid work with respected national clients.

🔧 The Role

You will be delivering building materials to construction sites and residential addresses using HIAB lorries fitted with brick grab and remote.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering building materials safely to site and customer locations

• Operating HIAB (brick grab & remote) to offload goods

• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork

• Providing a professional, customer-focused service

• Working safely in line with site and transport regulations

✅ Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• ALLMI HIAB certification (Brick Grab & Remote essential)

• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card

• Previous HIAB experience preferred

• Good knowledge of local area and site deliveries

• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious
