Welfare Van Collection Point: Grange-over-Sands, A590

Start Date: Asap

Shift Time: 19:30 start (night shift)

Pay Rate: £14.57 per hour (paye adv) – pay rise in April 2026

Driver Hire Lancaster is currently recruiting for a Welfare Van Unit Driver based around Newby Bridge/ Grange-over Sands. Due to the work taking place on a work site, you will need a CSCS card to be successful in your application.

🔧 Role Responsibilities:

• Collect welfare van
• Drive the welfare van to site assigned site
• Remain on-site during the shift to supervise welfare facilities (e.g., heating, seating, rest area)
• Set up lighting on the unit while on-site
• Keep the area clean, tidy, and secure throughout the shift
• Return the unit

📅 Shifts:

• Ongoing Monday – Friday shifts (with occasional weekends available)
• 8 Week Contract
• Finished early? Still paid for 8 hours!

✅ Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Valid CSCS card
• Reliable, punctual, and friendly attitude

This contract is commutable from Grange-over-Sands, Newby Bridge, Windermere, Kendal, Ulverston and other surrounding areas.
