30-minute lunch break plus mid-morning and afternoon breaks
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy and growing fabrication team. This role involves working from engineering drawings to manufacture small quantities of various frame types, rather than repetitive production work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:

Welding and fabricating frames from engineering drawings

Working with ERW steel tube with wall thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 3mm

Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal components

Maintaining high quality and accuracy in fabrication work

Working as part of a small, skilled team
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator

Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings

Experience welding thin wall steel (1.5mm – 3mm)

Good attention to detail and quality workmanship

Reliable and able to work independently when required
Weld Test:
Candidates will be required to attend a weld test, which can be arranged Monday to Thursday, where you will meet with a member of the team.
What We Offer:

£14.75ph for the first 12 weeks. Pay review after 12 weeks once ability has been assessed.
