Warehouse Operative – Chessington | Immediate Start Available | Temp to Perm
Our client based in Chessington is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team, offering great working hours and an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established UK distributor of Flooring materials, with a full spectrum of flooring products.
You’ll be joining a friendly and hardworking team that values safety, teamwork, and reliability.

Working Hours:
Monday–Friday: 11:00–20:00
1-hour lunch break
Salary & Pay Structure:
💷 First 12 weeks (Agency Period – Paid Weekly):
- First 8 hours: £13.90 per hour
- After 8 hours: £15.90 per hour
💼 After 12 weeks:
- Transition to a permanent role with the client
- Annual salary: TBC
Your Day-to-Day:
- Operating Counterbalance forklifts (desirable, not essential)
- Using Reach trucks (desirable, not essential)
- Handling and distributing flooring materials (tiles, carpets, and related products)
- Loading and unloading deliveries ( certificate holders only)
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
What We’re Looking For:
- Counterbalance forklift certificate (desirable, not essential)
- Reach truck certificate desirable (desirable, not essential)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
