Warehouse Operative
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £12.21 – £13.69
Hours: Varied throughout the week
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join Driver Hire. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse by supporting with goods in, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
Key responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
About You:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
