Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting Furniture Van Drivers to support a variety of clients across Edinburgh City and surrounding areas.
This is a flexible, ad hoc role, ideal for drivers looking to fit work around other commitments while staying active.
🕒 The Role
- Completing multi-drop furniture deliveries across local routes
- Handling heavy items as part of a team
- Ensuring goods are delivered safely and in excellent condition
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Working ad hoc shifts, mainly Monday to Friday
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE:
- £13.00 per hour
- £17.32 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
PAYE Advanced:
- £14.57 per hour
- £19.42 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
✅ Minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift guaranteed
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Flexible work to suit your availability
✅ What You’ll Need
- Full UK driving licence
- No major endorsements (DD, IN, CD, DG, DR)
- Good level of physical fitness (heavy lifting involved)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
- Previous van driving experience is essential
