Adhoc Cat B Van Driver – North Devon
We are seeking experienced Cat B van drivers who are confident working on an adhoc basis across the North Devon area. This role involves covering sickness and holiday shifts for a variety of clients, so flexibility and reliability are essential.
About the Role
- Start times vary between 06:00–08:00, depending on the client
- Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift
- Work will vary day‑to‑day, requiring drivers who can adapt quickly to different routes and environments
- Some assignments may be customer‑facing, so a professional attitude and appearance are expected
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ commercial driving experience (Cat B)
- Comfortable working adhoc, often at short notice
- No more than a maximum of 6 penalty points for speeding or mobile phone use, due to insurance purposes
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and good geographical knowledge of North Devon
Pay
- £12.30 per hour
- Plus £1.48 per hour holiday pay
- £13.78 per hour PAYE Advanced
