Driver Hire Reading are currently looking for an experienced Van Driver to work on a Temp to Perm in Bracknell. This client is a distributor of office stationary supplies.
The general duties of this role will involve working Monday – Friday starting at 7am and making approximately 40 deliveries per day. Successful applicants will be required to navigate to multiple places in the Berkshire area and surrounding counties, and making efficient deliveries to businesses only.
The pay rates on offer are as follows:
- £12.00 per hour basic
- £14.00 per hour overtime
These rates are paid weekly on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.
There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift, with the overtime rate paid after 8 hours.
SALARY – £24,800 once permament after 13 weeks.
Successful candidates will have the following:
- A full and valid UK driving licence.
- No more than 6 points (minor offences only).
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Attainable references in a driving capacity.
- Appropriate PPE (safety shoes and hi-viz).
