Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour
Hours: 6am starts
Driver Hire Bridgwater is recruiting a reliable and capable van driver to carry out commercial deliveries across the South West.
This role involves completing 8–15 deliveries per day, operating a 3.5t commercial vehicle, and representing our client in a professional manner at all times. The work is well suited to someone who is already familiar with the demands and expectations of commercial delivery driving.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out commercial deliveries across the South West
Safely operating a 3.5t van in line with road traffic regulations (Long wheel base vans_
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Working in compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD) requirements for 3.5t vehicles
Requirements:
Aged 26 or over (insurance requirement)
Clean UK driving licence with zero points (insurance requirement)
Minimum 3 years’ commercial driving experience
Good understanding of delivery routes, time management, and customer interaction
Awareness of driver responsibilities, vehicle checks, and legal driving hours
This position will suit a driver who is comfortable working independently, managing a delivery schedule, and handling the day-to-day realities of commercial driving.
