🚚 Van Driver – Deliver with Confidence and Care
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, on going Ad Hoc Basis
Pay: Weekly pay | Minimum 8 hours per day
Driver Hire Winchester has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Van Driver to join our client’s busy team, delivering and collecting hire equipment across the South Coast.
If you’re a reliable, customer-focused driver who enjoys being out on the road and tackling a variety of tasks each day — this could be the perfect role for you!
🌟 What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely deliver and collect hire equipment to customers across the South Coast
- Complete 15–20 multi-drop deliveries and collections per day
- Use a handheld device to log deliveries, collections, and exchanges (including photos)
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure all loads are safely secured using ratchet straps
- Provide friendly, professional customer service with every interaction
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
- Strapping experience (essential)
- Towing experience (preferred, not essential)
- Good understanding of manual handling and heavy lifting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Own transport to get to and from work
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
