Working Hours & Requirements
01:00 – 09:00 are the standard daily hours. There will be occasions where the shift finish time will be later than 09:00 so flexibility will be required. (Hours recorded on a clock in/out system)
Shift patterns will run on a fortnightly fixed rota covering Monday to Saturday
Ideally you will hold a HGV Cat C Licence, valid drivers qualification card & digital tacho card. You will be required to carry out deliveries as and when required.
Responsibilities –
- Check the floor to see what products are ready and available
- Collect keys and run sheets for the day
- Ensure that stock is loaded onto the correct vehicle and all vehicles leave site in good time to complete deliveries.
- Correcting minor defects on vehicles such as topping up fluids and replacing light bulbs – training can be provided if required
- Assist drivers with the use of the Aquarius app
- Conduct random gate checks on drivers and vehicles
- If drivers are returning while still on shift conduct a driver debrief and vehicle checks
- Every Monday download driver cards and return card to driver
- Complete any return to work docs with drivers on the first day back following any absence
- As and when required complete investigations with drivers
- Undertake CPC and any other training that the company require for your role
- Cover for the Transport Manager during any period of absence.
- Any other reasonable requests
Salary Information – £37,000 – £38,000 p/a
