We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our hard working and friendly team. The role of a consultant is extremely fast paced, demanding and very sales focused. Your product is people and selling people can be frustrating, but also extremely rewarding. No two days are ever the same, managing your own candidate base, maintaining and developing client relationships.

You will receive full training, covering all areas of the role, to ensure that you feel completely confident whilst developing your skills and expertise. We are looking for a strong communicator who is fun, confident and an organised team player to share our passion for recruitment and finding the right person for the right job.

Key skills:

  • Strong communicator with proven customer service skills
  • Reliable and motivated
  • IT Literate with excellent planning and organisation skills and able to multi-task
  • Problem solving
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexibility for out of hours on call
  • Previous experience in this role is a must
  • Previous sales experience

Key job objectives:

Candidate management –

  • Pre-screen candidates before registration
  • Face to Face interviews
  • Assess candidate packs to ensure they are complete and that they include all necessary documentation required to comply with Company & Statutory procedures
  • Compliance management

Lead Generation & Sales Referrals:

  • Market Driver Hire to potential clients
  • Maximise the potential of candidates through delivery of a service relevant to their needs
  • Spec out candidates to clients on a daily basis
  • Cold call client lead
  • Undertake client account-management visits with a view to developing business through up-selling & cross selling.


  • Responsible for ensuring all areas of the business are compliant to achieve full compliance sign off through the audit process.
  • Run quarterly assessment of candidate particulars essential to maintaining up to date compliance records.

Working as a team we share a bonus scheme based on our weekly sales turnover, having a dramatic effect on your earnings. We are focused on everyone achieving a strong work life balance, our office hours are 08:00 – 17:00 (flexible), However we are available to our clients 24hrs a day on an on-call rota which is shared amongst our team. Typically, this will be 1 day a week and will include 1 weekend a month.
