Full Time, Permanent Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of the UK’s leading supplier of heating, ventilation & air conditioning products, who are looking to add a test & run service operative to their Haydock warehouse team.
As a test & run service operative, your role will involve carrying out the service & repair of a wide range of equipment, including heaters & air conditioning units, amongst other products. You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is safe for customer use & in perfect working order. In between these tasks, you will also be expected to carry out general warehouse duties on a regular basis, such as loading delivery vehicles & order picking.
To be suitable for this test & run service operative position, please ensure you meet the following criteria.
- Basic understanding & experience of electricals
- Basic understanding & experience of using a variety of hand tools
- Experience of driving a forklift truck (NOT essential)
- Able to operate a tablet device
- Have a positive & pro-active approach to work
- Confident working both independently & as part of a small team
- Full UK driving licence
