About the Role
Driver Hire Bridgwater is expanding and we are looking for an ambitious Sales & Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team.
This is a 360 recruitment role with a strong sales and business development focus, ideal for someone with proven sales experience who enjoys meeting clients face-to-face, owning their own pipeline, and delivering solutions.
You will take full accountability for generating new business, managing existing client relationships, and delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions. No two days are the same — this is a fast-paced, people-focused role with real autonomy and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and win new clients through proactive sales activity
Meet clients face-to-face to understand their recruitment needs
Manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing client accounts
Own the full recruitment lifecycle from lead generation to placement fulfilment
Use consultative sales techniques to offer tailored recruitment solutions
Recruit, interview, and assess candidates to meet client requirements
Manage vacancies from initial briefing through to successful placement
Maintain excellent relationships with both clients and candidates
Accurately manage your own sales and recruitment pipeline
What We’re Looking For
Proven sales experience (recruitment experience beneficial but not essential)
Confidence making outbound calls and attending face-to-face meetings
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working with full ownership and accountability
Commercially aware and target-driven
Organised, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
