Location: Jedburgh, Scottish Borders
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: Full time (day shift initially, flexibility required)
Start date: Immediate
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing company for Production Operatives to join a small, friendly team at a modern production facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding company with scope for future development. You will start on day shift but other shifts will be introduced as production increases
Duties include:
- Operating and assisting with production machinery
- Feeding raw materials into machines
- Packing finished products
- Moving materials and goods
- Following all health & safety procedures
Training provided:
- Full on-site machinery training
- Forklift and health & safety training if required
What we’re looking for:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn and work hands-on
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Some experience with machinery (workplace or college level)
Desirable but not essential:
- Manufacturing experience
- Forklift licence
- Mechanical or electrical skills
£12.60 per hour – Permanent role with progression opportunities
