Driver Hire Brighton & Eastbourne is recruiting professional, reliable PCV Mini-bus drivers to support one of our prestigious clients in the Brighton area with school trips and extra curricular activities. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified bus/minibus drivers looking for flexible, casual work with a reputable local transport recruitment specialist.
What you’ll need:
- Possession of a valid Full UK licence, Full PCV (Category D1) licence
- Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- A positive, customer focused attitude & love of driving
- Professional and smart appearance
- Excellent timekeeper
- Previous experience preferred with school contracts
- Proof of Right to work in the UK (birth certificate or Passport)
- No DR10 endorsements on driving record
- Safety boots and Hi-vis
About the role:
- Providing safe, professional passenger transport services to students aged 13-18, operating local routes, airport runs and day trips out
- Working on a casual / ad-hoc basis to support regular runs and short-notice requirements
- Shifts may include early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends (we will try to meet your preference)
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers
