Position Overview: We are seeking experienced and compassionate PCV Coach Drivers who are trained in wheelchair accessibility (MiDAS certification preferred) and hold an Enhanced DBS check. The role involves operating split shifts in the Ilford area, ensuring the safe and comfortable transport of our passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate PCV vehicles during morning and afternoon split shifts.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring the secure transportation of individuals using wheelchairs.
- Provide excellent customer service, team player, maintaining a friendly, and professional demeanour.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Valid PCV license.
- MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) certification or equivalent wheelchair training.
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and appropriate attitude.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and adults is highly desirable.
- Reside locally or be willing to travel to the Ilford area for split shifts.
