Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Hours: Flexible part-time shifts, Monday to Sunday
Driverhire Bridgwater & Taunton is recruiting reliable and experienced van drivers to support a range of clients across Bridgwater and the surrounding areas.
Shifts are available Monday to Sunday and may include early mornings, late finishes and weekend work. Applicants must be flexible and able to commit to weekend shifts when available.
The Role
Assignments may include:
Tail-lift van and box van deliveries
Local and regional routes
Home-store deliveries
Medical equipment deliveries to customers’ homes
Safely loading, securing and strapping down goods
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Providing a professional service to customers
The type of work may vary between clients, so flexibility towards different assignments, delivery types and start times is essential.
Requirements
Must be aged 25 or over due to insurance requirements
Full UK driving licence
Maximum of three penalty points
No DD, DR or IN driving convictions
Previous commercial van-driving experience preferred
Confident safely securing and strapping loads
Able to work early and late shifts
Able to commit to weekend work when available
Reliable, professional and customer-focused
