We are recruiting a number of site operative roles with immediate start positions for reliable candidates who are happy with practical, site-based work across the South West.
This role will suit people from a construction, highways, labouring, outdoor work or practical site background who are comfortable travelling to different sites and staying away from home occasionally.
Location
South West
You will work from our client’s depot before travelling to sites across the region.
Due to the depot location and limited public transport, you must have a manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Salary
Starting pay from £14.44 per hour
Additional uplifts are available for antisocial hours.
A working-away-from-home allowance is also available when required.
Key Responsibilities
• Carrying out practical site-based duties safely and efficiently
• Working outdoors and in different site environments
• Following instructions from supervisors and team leaders
• Travelling to different work locations across the South West
• Staying away from home occasionally when required
• Following site rules, safety procedures and company standards
Qualifications
Essential
• Manual driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Comfortable with practical site-based work
• Happy working outdoors and travelling to different locations
• Able to stay away from home occasionally
• Able to pass drug and alcohol tests before and during employment
Desirable
• CSCS card
• Previous experience in construction, highways, labouring, traffic management, utilities or outdoor site work
