Multi Drop Van Driver

Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting Multidrop Van Drivers to support a range of clients across the UB postcode areas, including Uxbridge, Greenford, Southall, Hayes, and West Drayton

All roles are temporary ad hoc, with no guaranteed shifts

• £13.75 – £16.55 per hour (including holiday pay)
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
• Overtime paid after 9 hours (breaks unpaid)
• Day shifts: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
• Start times: Between 5:30am and 8:00am

As a Multidrop Van Driver your duties will include:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries of high-value goods (e.g. vehicles, catering equipment, plant/tools, alcohol) across the M25 and Central London
• Carrying out deliveries and collections to/from customers and suppliers
• Preparing orders and assisting with loading/unloading vehicles
• Securing loads using ratchet straps(essential experience required)
• Handling heavy lifting, including transporting items over distance and up/down stairs
• Communicating professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues
• Performing basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, fluid levels)
• Keeping accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Following all road safety and traffic regulations

Requirements you must have:

• Full UK Cat B licence held for at least 2 years
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, TT, IN, or MS90 endorsements)
• Be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
• At least 1 year’s experience as a commercial/multi-drop van driver (references required)
• A commute within 30 minutes to the work location
• Good physical fitness (roles involves heavy lifting)
• Strong communication skills and customer service approach
• Knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards
