Driver Hire Stevenage are recruiting Mini bus drivers for their healthcare providing customer.
About the Role
Our drivers play an essential role in providing safe and supportive transportation for our clients. This includes transporting passengers to and from schools, colleges, and day care centres. Key attributes we value include flexibility, a focus on safety, and a positive attitude.
This role offers Monday to Friday as working days, term-time contracts, with 30 hours per week. There will also be opportunity to pick up extra hours over weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Building positive and professional relationships with passengers, carers, and staff at destinations.
- Ensuring that vehicles remain roadworthy, clean, and secure.
- Performing school runs in the morning and afternoon on school days.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license with PSV/D1 entitlement
- Current Driver CPC (with up-to-date hours).
- Ability to meet Group 2 medical standards.
- Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this if you don’t have one).
- Comfortable using a smartphone and email for basic work communications.
- Right to work in the UK.
